Tomorrow is the first Friday in October and, in Bastrop, Texas, that is something to celebrate -EVERY month we celebrate First Friday! For the first time, ever, The MONARCH GALLERY in the Bridges Emporium (920 Main Street) will be offering a discount of 20% for ANY work of art in the gallery!

We also have lots of yummy refreshments (some for adults only).

In addition, each of our 4 partner-artists is donating a work to a raffle in our gallery. Tickets are $1 each and you may choose which work of art you wish to win.

Below is my contribution to the raffle - a hand-painted, one-of-a-kind 100% silk scarf.
