Commemorate our nation’s 250th birthday with a summer pasort and discover local history 🇺🇸
The Rutherford County Convention and Visitors Bureau (RCCVB), in cooperation with the Stones River National Battlefield and 18 other community partners, is pleased to announce an opportunity for residents and visitors to commemorate our nation’s 250th birthday with your family, friends, and neighbors by visiting sites and events throughout our communities. We invite you to use Rutherford County’s America’s 250 Scavenger Hunt Passport as guide to experience the many sites and events focused on commemorating America’s 250th and our county’s place in that story.
The booklet was designed and produced with funds provided by the National Park Service. While supplies last, residents and visitors can pick up a copy at Stones River National Battlefield, the RCCVB visitor center, Oaklands Mansion, Historic Sam Davis Home and Museum, Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) Honors College, and the La Vergne Public Library beginning May 1st. You can also download and print your own copy at https://go.nps.gov/rca250passport.
Take your passport to the participating sites and events and collect a stamp or sticker. When you collect at least ten stamps/stickers, bring the booklet to the Rutherford County Convention and Visitors Bureau visitor center to collect a special commemorative tote bag while supplies last.
🇺🇸You can get your first two stamps tomorrow at the Decoration Day at Stones River National Cemetery event!🇺🇸
