ποΈβ¨ HISTORY COMES TO LIFE TONIGHT AT SPARK! AFTER DARK!
What if you could step back in time and hear history told by someone who lived it?
Join us TONIGHT at the Scurry County Museum as Deborah Moran portrays Cynthia Ann Parker in a special living-history presentation!
Cynthia Ann Parker's story is one of the most remarkable and complex chapters in Texas history. Captured as a young girl in 1836, she grew up among the Comanche, became part of their community, and raised a family that included her son, legendary Comanche leader Quanah Parker.
In 1860, she was forcibly separated from her Comanche family, becoming part of a story that continues to inspire historical reflection and discussion more than 160 years later.
Through this special portrayal, Deborah Moran will help bring Cynthia Ann's experiences and the history of the Southern Plains to life.
