It has been extremely difficult to get a good cell phone photo of this because of its size and the type of paint. But, I will whip out the big camera shortly and try getting a better image. I am really enjoying branching WAY out of my comfort zone, as I’ve been very unmotivated to create pencil drawings at the moment. It’s also a bit scary because I’m just so critical of myself and putting new art out is always tough for me. Also, it is always a struggle because the photos just never do it justice. This is a matte black canvas with metallic & glossy acrylic. There is no finish on it, yet and I’m experimenting with a couple different things before applying anything. It’s also still drying… and I’m also not 100% sure I’m done with it… 😅 24”x36” Inquiries welcome.

One of my all-time favorite drawings. This was from 2006, I believe. This is the only drawing that I have ever recreated. I drew it once in high school, and then I decided I wanted to try and do it better, so I did it again when I was a freshman in college, and it turned out SO much better. I keep this framed piece in my home. I do not keep many of my pieces, but this one I really enjoy because it reminds me of my growth. And even today, I'm better than when I did this drawing. I still create things I'm not happy with, but I'm less critical of myself than I was back then, and I know I'll only continue to get better.
