Happy Foodie Friday!

Today, we’re highlighting Somonauk’s Village Courtyard dessert board, featured in the DeKalb County History Center’s award-winning exhibit, "Food: Gathering Around the Table". The display celebrates Joan Anderson’s homemade pie crust, a local favorite that drew visitors from across the area. Opening their doors in 1982, they continue to bring people together through food and community.

Do you have a recipe that's been cooked up in DeKalb County for a long time? Is there a cookie that is always served at your local church events?
