Times change. Our mission evolves. But our heart stays the same.

North Bay Air Museum was founded in 1984 with a clear goal: honor WWII aviators and keep history flying. Over four decades, we’ve given countless WWII pilots the thrill of one more takeoff and brought the past roaring back to life with each aircraft we restored.

Today, in 2025, we’re proud to say we’re evolving. Our mission now reaches beyond WWII to honor veterans from all eras—and to preserve the incredible machinery, engineering brilliance, and design innovation of military aviation and its influence on the automotive world. From the thundering P-51 Mustang to iconic performance cars that were born of wartime tech, we’re celebrating the minds and machines that shaped history—and the roads and skies we still travel today.

This image says it all. We invite you to be part of our next chapter.

Sonoma County Code Enforcement shut the event down stating Health Ordinance. Really? 80 acres of open space can only have 12 people? Well, we won't break their law, dumb as they are. Sorry folks - apparently parking cars 12 feet apart on 80 acres of land is somehow detrimental to your health. But somehow going into a crowded Costco or Walmart or Safeway, with narrow aisles and credit card keypads everyone is touching is less of a "COVID" risk than sunshine, freshair and wide open space. Holy Cow. What next?
