This morning, Chief Kolosh, Deputy Chief Wynsma and the rest of the South Holland Fire Department welcomed retired former POC firefighters and their families for a celebration breakfast! Chief Kolosh presented several members with retirement axes for their dedicated years of service to the Village of South Holland. Captain James Deyoung Lieutenant George Dinkel, Lieutenant Eddie Ritzema and Firefighter Ron Tiemens were presented their axes. Current Station Support member, Craig Nelson, was presented a plaque recognizing his dedication and service to the South Holland Fire Department and MABAS 24 with his work on the Canteen. Craig was then sworn in by Chief Kolosh as an honorary South Holland firefighter!!! Please help us congratulate all of these members and thank them for their years of dedicated service!!!
