Since American Robins sing frequently, sometimes for hours on end, they can commonly be heard before they are seen. Did you know, The American Robin, Turdus migratorius, is actually a thrush and got its name from the early colonists who missed the beloved European Robin, Erithacus rubecula? The American Robin is pictured here below the European Robin. Join us for our Take Flight! program on June 24th in Nowashe Village and listen for their cheery, warbling, musical whistles to see them happily going about their day. https://nowashe.org/event/take-flight/ The Watershed History Collective
