It’s Gallery Walk Eve again, friends!

Tomorrow is the First Friday Gallery Walk in downtown Southport - we are featuring a *new* artist, Katie Wickham, seen here! Come check these beauties out in person!

Katie found us at Mirthos, our new sister store! & we will hang some of her work there for the June 12th grand opening Soirée at Mirthos.

Since Hilary has not yet figured out how to clone herself (and watch out when she does!) - Mirthos is not yet ready to join in the First Friday fun - but soon we hope to be part of gallery walk with the as neighbors across the street!

So we will see you at LANTANA’S at 113 S. Howe tomorrow! Half a block from the river!

Some shots of the small but mighty Memorial Day parade here in Southport. My hometown in southern Ohio had their big parade on Memorial Day, as a matter of fact Ironton, Ohio is home to the longest continually held Memorial Day parade in the country! Now I live in Southport, home of the Official North Carolina 4th of July Festival & parade!

ProCo lunch for a holiday as a tourist in your in own town! Yum!

Charles Albert was in the building this morning bringing his signature gigantic jewelry (ok, I got some medium size things, too!) - restocked with sea glass, shark teeth, artistically beautiful natural minerals & stones, and these stunning megalodon teeth in sterling silver!

I didn’t get the star necklace (let me know if you want one!) but I did get a luminite star pendant like the biggest star on the necklace & a luminite star bracelet for that America 250 bling! Or for all my fellow star lovers out there!
