The Salty Dog Gallery Welcome to the Salty Dog Gallery, owned by renowned artist Philip S. Steel and his wife Joan. Become Steel, and extremely tallented guest artist every 2 weeks.

Open in Southwest Harbor, Maine from June 1st to October 15th, The gallery features it's resident world recognized artist Philip S. Also featured is a sculpture garden with nationally recognized sculpture David Hayes and others equally well known sculpturers from time to time.

This is Phil's daughter, Amy. Phil peacefully passed away on Monday, March 26. He is survived by his loving wife of years and years and years, Joan, and a ton of family, paintings, and musical instruments. He is sorely missed by all of the above. A celebration of his colorful life will be held Saturday, June 23, 2-5 PM ET at the Causeway Club's Red Barn. Come with bells on!

calls of encouragement.. I have been one sick pup.Im in rehab now in Eastern Maine Hospital In Bangor..Hopefully will be relocated. To MDI Hospital soon. Phil
