The New Moon Art Gallery is open again!
While we were closed the member artists were at work in their studios creating, designing,and preparing the finely crafted artwork that will be presented in our exhibitions.
Hands: Celebrating the Makers
This is the theme for the September show. The artist’s hands are the testament of thousands of hours of training in skills of their particular medium. Large bodies of work have been created by our artist’s hands over years of trial, error, success,and presentation.
In this post we feature two artists and members of New Moon Art Gallery
They are Larry Keyser and Kerry Whitsitt
Larry works with exotic wood, stone, and fossils for the creation of functional art. You will see his jewelry, pizza knives, and gorgeous lamps in the gallery.
Kerry creates with glass mosaic. Her pieces radiate color and imagination. Some of Kerry’s pieces are functional and decorative. There are mirrors, switch plates, birdhouses, trivets, and pieces to adorn your living spaces.
Come, celebrate the makers at the New Moon Gallery. There are two September receptions:
