Dear Artists,

This has been an incredibly trying time for us artists, and really the world as a whole! We have been racking our brains here at artist simply about how we can support local artists affected by the virus. We have decided that we would love to host a ‘virtual art tour’ on First Friday, April 3rd. Our hope is to use this platform as a means to showcase the amazing artists and pieces that were canceled due to the pandemic. Our desire is not only to offer exposure to our local artists but to also create an environment that is encouraging and uplifting.

What we need from our artists:

Between 8-12 images of your work, especially work that you had planned to showcase on First Friday, April 3rd.
Please include titles of pieces, if applicable.
We then will need a paragraph or two about yourself, your work, and where people can find you(social media, websites, etsy, etc).

We will use this content to create a virtual art show, including artist info read by your favorite Artsy Dweeb(aka Morgan)! Our deadline is Monday, March 30th, at 12:00 pm.

We want to use this moment of chaos to create a sense of solidarity among the art community. We believe that events like this have the opportunity to create an even stronger sense of community and togetherness. We will continue to adapt to our changing situation and will strive to help our artists grow, flourish and expand.

Please keep an eye out for any events and emails we send your way!

Sincerely,

Morgan Robinson
