🖌️We’re taking part in this evening’s Downtown Springdale 👣 Art Walk in partnership with the Downtown Springdale Alliance! We’ll be open from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. as we showcase the 17 winners of the Our Ozarks photo contest featuring 🖼️ 24 photographs from Benton, Boone, Carroll, Madison, Newton, and Washington counties. We’ll also be serving c***r and snacks. Come see us!

Tickets are available through Downtown Springdale.

🍎🍎🍎 In time for the 50th anniversary of the Arkansas Apple Festival in Lincoln, we have this photo of a gigantic apple. (Or is it a pumpkin?) Really, we have no clue what’s going on here. Here’s what we think: this may be some kind of parade or an event for the University of Arkansas’ agriculture program. We would love to be able to identify the people, when and where this was taken, and what this event was.

🏆🐓 Winner, winner, chicken dinner! But who are these people? Today’s 📷 shows the Arkansas Jaycees what must be a buffet line featuring lots of chicken. We also don’t know where this was taken or when, though we believe these people are from Springdale and this could have been at a Jaycees Convention in Dallas, Texas. What do you know?

Timed with America’s semiquincentennial, our new exhibit, Our Changing Landscape, explores the profound transformation of the Arkansas Ozarks and its people over the last 250 years. 🏛️🍃

Through a curated selection of historical photographs and material culture artifacts from the Shiloh Museum archives, visitors will witness how our physical communities, natural environments, and daily lives have evolved across generations.

In addition to historic collections, the exhibition features the winning entries from our Our Ozarks digital photography competition held earlier this year, bridging our region’s rich past with contemporary local perspectives! 📸✨

🗓️ Our Changing Landscape is on exhibit now through mid-2027. Come take a walk through Ozark history!
