Hey everybody,
I just wanted to share that 2023 is going to be a time of new beginnings for me. I am actually in the process of setting up my new pottery studio in O’Fallon,IL.
For those of you who don’t know, my fiancé and I bought a house in IL in the fall of 2021. Since then, I’ve been commuting to my studio in St Charles while managing a day job and being a new home owner. Needless to say, it’s been kind of a lot.😅So I’m very excited to start a new space much closer to home.
I will always be grateful for my time at the Foundry, the wonderful support of my customers and the amazing artists and friends I’ve met along the way. It’s simply time to start the next chapter.
My apologies is advance that I won’t be able to respond for a bit as I get this new studio up and running. Truly it is no small task to move a pottery studio. But I know it will be worth the time, sweat and effort. Im also super excited that Murphy, my adorable “studio assistant” will be able to hang with me while I work. Who wouldn’t love that sweet face?

Do you love seeing behind the scenes of how things are made? Me too! 😃🙌I’m endlessly curious and I love seeing other artists’ studio spaces.
If you’ve never been to the Foundry Art Centre, we would love for you to stop by this weekend. There’s new work in the galleries, Merry Makers will be happening, and many of our talented artists will be in their studios. Psst..special treats are available for those lucky people who attend the Merry Makers VIP hour on Friday night. Merry Makers is a free, public event but tickets are required for the VIP hour. I can’t wait for the JBS Unique Boutique this weekend! 💕 I’ll probably knock out a lot of my holiday shopping. This is a fabulous time to meet the makers and buy local, handmade gifts.
The organizers of this show go out of their way to handpick the vendors, and the variety and craftmanship in this show really stand out. I always find a lot of wonderful treasures.

I just wanted to pop in and say a big thank you to everyone for the opening reception of my show, Form & Surface! 💕🙏 I had such a wonderful evening connecting with everyone, and I really appreciate your support. I hope you enjoyed it as much as did. Many thanks to the staff and the St Charles CVB for all that you do. 🙌😍
If you missed opening night, the show will be up for a few weeks so stop on by during the Foundry’a regular hours.

So my first solo show, Form & Surface starts next week, and I would love for you to stop by. This new work represents the last few months of my life and is inspired by asking, “What Happens If I...?”
The opening reception is Friday March 4, from 5-8pm in conjunction with First Fridays at the Foundry. So join us for art, live music and community. Can’t wait to see you!
