On the 14th of June 1956, in Hvidovre Denmark, a baby was born.
A baby boy named Kim Bendix Petersen, who would grow up to be called KING.

We raise our glasses to you, King Diamond , in celebration of your 69th birthday today.

Not only is he a king, he is a legend, a hero, and an inspiration to many. He is also a husband, father, a friend.
He is one of the most respectful and kind people you could possibly meet. He has a very unique personality, and is a total BADASS!

King, you, your music, and your storytelling has inspired so many of us in ways that you’ll never know. We can’t thank you enough for it.
Thank you for being you, and for doing what you do from the heart.
