I fined it interesting that there are so many views on this page. I am very flattered that so many people are seeing it. I do wish, though that those of you who view the page would post something simple so that I could tell where the posts are come from. Thanks. (I'm sure there is probably a way that I can already do this, but I'm not sure how to find it.)

My three lastest pieces. "The Barn on the Corner" sets down the road and around a couple of corners from the house. "Stoneyman School" is located just outside Luray, VA. I am assuming it is a school. If it is not, folks in Luray, please let me know. I took some artistic license here--it sets nestled among some modern buildings and trees, not on a hill. They would have taken away from the appearance of the building itself. "Winter on the Lake" is based on a couple of photos that my daughter, Edie, and her friend Hali took at the lake during our latest snow squall. All three pieces will be available at Brooklyn's Market in Front Royal once I manage to get them framed. Prints are also available.

"Untitled" (so far). My latest piece in its various stages. Water still seems to be the bane of my existence at times. I'm going to try something different for the foreground on this one. Instead of painting in the foliage I'm going to use gold leaf and copper leaf papers. We'll see how it turns out.

"Barn on the Corner", my latest piece. This barn actually does exist on Honeyville Road, outside of Stanley. There is an inherent danger to painting with a cup of coffee next to me. About halfway through the wash on the barn I looked up and there was a paint brush sticking up out of the cup of coffee. It didn't affect the taste of the drink, but I'm not sure what it did to the shade of the paint.
