I did another test firing using the Naked Raku method.

This time the pottery was wrapped with steel wool and banana peels, then enclosed in foil to sit in an open fire. For the first two hours I keep the fire burning hot using lots of sticks and twigs to keep the larger chunks of wood burning. Then I let the fire settle down allowing it to burn itself out overnight.

The next morning I unwrap the pottery and the final versions can be seen in the video. I apply a small amount of buffing wax to finalize the finish. Very cool outcomes so far!
