Tuesday, May 26th at 7:00, we will be at the Schoolhouse to hear Barb Warner Deane.
Barb will be discussing "Women of World War II: On the Front Lines and the Home Front. Between Rosie the Riviter and the Atomic Girls , women made contributions to the war effort.
Stop on over and stay a while.

On Tuesday, April 28th @ 7:00 PM at the Little Red Schoolhouse, located at 1294 State Rt. 104A, Sterling; will be having their first program of the season.
Lee Hickey has agreed to be our first speaker. Her topic for the night will be "The Murder of Cora Sweet". This brutal murder that took place in Scriba, New York; according to the "Oswego Daily News, May 29th, 1905. A slideshow and book signing event will take place that evening. If you attended last years program, Lee introduced her first book called "Girl in the Glass Coffin: the Tonkin Affairs. This should be another interesting topic. Please join us and see for yourself what this book is about.

Tuesday, October 28th@ 7:00 p.m; the Little Red Schoolhouse will be hosting their last program for this year. The program will be about A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, that was located in Fulton, NY.
Les Weldin and Tom Brown will be presenting the known history of the hospital, and what it did for the community.
We are located at 1294 State Rt. 104A, Sterling. All are invited to attend and reminisce about what was and what is now.
Hope to see you there and enjoy the night.

STERLING HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Sterling Historical Society
will be hosting a program on Tuesday,
September 23rd at 7:00 p.m. Our
speaker for that night with be Chris
Leys; he will be talking about
"Revenue Cutters," 1790-2025. This
will be the History of the Coast Guard.
Chris has been with the coast guard for
many years; and it should be very
interesting.
Our programs are winding down,
so I'm hoping all will join us for an
enjoyable night.

August 3rd... Today would be a great day to stop in at the Little Red Schoolhouse & Sterling Heritage Park for sure.
We have a CAR DISPLAY going on today, as well as doing TOURS as usual and for a SPECIAL TREAT.... MELLA MAYS will be on site for any visitors that would like something for that special treat.
The weather is beautiful, and we'd love to meet you, so stop in and have a wonderful day with us, meet some car owners, see what a caboose looks like, and grab some deliciousness for a lunch.
LETS HAVE SOME FUN!!!!! We are located at 1294 State Rt. 104A, Sterling, right next to the town hall.

It's here! On Sunday, August 3rd, the Sterling Historical Society will be holding their 4th Annual Classic Car Display.
Doors open at noon, and we are located at 1294 State Rt. 104A in Sterling.
We will be having " Mella Mays Hot Spot " serving up their delicious foods.
No setup fees and no prizes , just an afternoon of looking, dreaming and having some fun.
Stop on in and join the fun! We look forward to meeting you !
