29 years ago at 4:31am, Southern California was rocked by a 6.7 magnitude earthquake centered under the community of Northridge, just over the mountain from the ole town. Mentryville was not immune to the wrath of the quake. This photo was taken of the damaged Pico Cottage not long after the earthquake occurred.
