The other day I was in an “art healer” Zoom meeting with a bunch of dear people from all over the country. Some of us have met monthly for several years now, and there’s a strong bond between between us that’s been forged through lots of deep sharing.

You can just picture it: An exasperated person who’s been waiting “too long” for something... Upon seeing that something finally come to pass, they breathe out, “Finally!” Clearly their expectations were not matched by the time it took to see them fulfilled.

I remember when I thought I knew a lot. (It was a long time ago!) Even while I was excited about learning and growing, I still pretty much figured I had it all together. “Wow, you’re so mature for your age!” grownups would tell me as I glowed in humble agreement.

Every once in a while, I’ll go to the car wash. When I’m in the kind where you get to ride through, I can’t resist taking a few pictures. It’s so colorful! My windshield becomes a huge movie screen as I get mobbed by gigantic monster-mops, soapy sprays and flashing lights on every side.
