We are pleased to be your destination for unique and original pieces of fine art. Most of the artists we represent are from Wisconsin, with a handful being from right here in Dane County. We also have artists from the Midwest. You will find works of art in m

any mediums: oil, acrylic, watercolor, etching, mezzotint, mosaic, glass, sculpture, ceramic, jewelry, and many more. We also have a wide variety of styles of art. Realism, cubism, impressionist, abstract, Plein air, and reclaimed art is just a few. With this wide range of original artworks, there is bound to be an artist that catches your eye. Investment Art is museum-quality artwork by historical artists that is appreciating. We have many works by artists from the WPA, as well as John James Audubon, Thomas Moran, George E. Lee, and Aaron Bohrod to name just a few. Woodland Studios also specializes in Custom Framing. We have hundreds of frame styles and mats to choose from. We use UV-protected glass to protect your work from fading, and archival matting and mounting are our standards. There is so much to see and explore at our gallery. Alan is ahead of schedule on a major new addition to Woodland Studios. It isn't complete, but you can see the progress if you visit this week during our business hours. Tuesday-Fri 11AM-5PM, Sat. 10AM-5PM, Closed Sunday & Monday What will hang on these walls is just as special as the work that was done to them. Alan tapped into his engineering past to craft this beautiful space. Lots of custom cuts were made to make this work in the historic building.

One of Don Freeman’s Pieces (not pictured) is featured in the personal collection of Gallery Owner, Alan Sheets. Don Freeman, painter, printmaker, and cartoonist, is best known as the Author and Illustrator of the beloved Children’s Book, Corduroy. He published 20 children’s books in his career. As a Social Realism artist, Freeman’s subjects included actors and manual laborers in and around New York City.
