New artist announcement! We’d like to welcome Lynne Gavin to the gallery!

I first met Lynne on the porch of the Fuller House a few years ago at a event where Lynne was selling her beautiful scarves. Having just accidentally killed my very first indigo vat, I was amazed at the timing of meeting someone who was a true expert at botanical dying. I instantly fell in love with her and her work.

Lynne grows and forages what she needs to dye these beautiful silk and cashmere scarves. The precision with which she can transfer the plants to the fabric comes from a mastery of the craft and in my mind, is pretty close to magic. 💫

We’re always changing things over here at the Northwood! Come on by and see what’s new in Stowe’s Artisan Gallery.

We exclusively feature Vermont artists, with over 80 talented Vermonters’ work on display. There is something for everyone here - jewelry, pottery, paintings, illustrations, sculptures, stained glass and more. Come take a look around and see what Vermont has to offer.

Open 10-6, seven days a week. Located at 151 Main St, right next to the historic church.

You may be asking - why is the gallery posting about Grand Point North?? Fun fact, Meghan (that’s me) has been a board member with Grand Point Foundation for the past year. This is ‘s non-profit, dedicated to the arts here in Vermont.

The festival will be donating all of the proceeds to the foundation this year and there are lots of ways to get involved.

Check out the website for donation and sponsorship opportunities, and make sure you grab tickets to this amazing musical lineup. It’s always a magical weekend at the Waterfront!
