Congress second graders came for a field day the same day the Old Car Tour stopped at the museum. The car owners were gracious and the students were great.

As a lifelong local native, Richard Freeman took up the hobby of photography at Sturgis High School when he shadowed a local newspaper photographer. He instantly fell in love with the art and it quickly became a lifelong passion. He developed his first photos in a darkroom he set up in the basement....

Those who have tickets will be enjoying memories of Patterson's Supper Club at the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts hosted by the Sturgis Historical Society. The tribute to those who did so much for the cultural life of Sturgis begins at 5 p.m. April 30.

The History of Downtown Sturgis, that premiered on Sunday, was a celebration of the city, the citizens and an entertaining history lesson - the movie - of downtown in the past 200 years. This is Mike Mort's 10th Windows to Our Past video of Sturgis history. DVDs and USB drives of all the movies are for sale at the Sturgis Historical Museum.
