Hi Folks,

It has been awhile since the last "Post", but life has been a busy place lately.

It turns out that if you are going to hang a sculpture on a wall, there must be considerations, not only for weight, but also for balance.

That being said, the bison that I showed you a couple of weeks ago didn't make the cut, so I will now need to redo it entirely, and right now is a large chunk of two-part epoxy junk. (I might be able to use it in a different application.)

However, I have been working on the horse, which will someday have a rider. Here is where the sculpture is at the moment.

Hi Folks,
Here is the horse piece of the "The Hunt" sculpture as of October 9, 2024. You are looking at the two sides, and in the final sculpture the horse will be aligned horizontally. At my current rate of progress, it will be weeks before I finish the overall sculpture.

Hi Folks,

I ran out of epoxy for the last few days, but I just received some today. So, that being said, here is where the "Wall Hanging Sculpture" is as of October 3, 2024,

Here is the bison, hanging on my clematis trellis out back. (First image.), (And the second image is the horse just beginning to emerge from the styrofoam.)

I will post a more detailed description on "Bob's Blog" in a day or two. I will notify you when it "Posts".

Hi Folks,
I have started to build the armature for the Bison. It constructed entirely of styrofoam. This armature is just one of three. The horse and rider are yet to come. Check It Out on "Bob's Blog".

I have begun to assemble the styrofoam armature, and immediately ran into issues. It seems that having "Horse and Rider" and the "Bison" both turning in the same direction will not work if the final sculpture is to become a wall hanging. I have modified the building plan in the image below:
