Do you remember the Indian Cave Lodge? 💫

We’ve had so much fun sourcing antique and unique canvases for artist, Doug Henry, to transform, and this latest creation may be one of our favorites yet. Each of Doug’s pieces is 100% original and one-of-a-kind, inspired by Sunapee and its rich vintage heritage. 🛶

This stunning Indian Cave Lodge artwork has been painted on an 18th-century door, complete with its original green paint, and measures approximately 74” x 30”. The result is a truly remarkable statement piece that blends local history, nostalgia, and artistry in a way only Doug can.

For anyone looking to own a unique piece of Sunapee history, this is a true showstopper. Now hanging in The Gallery! 💚

We want to thank everyone who came out last night to help us “Spring Into Summer!” Despite the threatening weather, the rain mostly held off, and it was wonderful to see so many people enjoying themselves in Sunapee Harbor.

We also want to thank everyone for the kind words, positive feedback, and encouragement regarding our new little store next door. This space will serve as an evolving extension of The Gallery, continuing to feature antique furniture and beautiful artwork while also offering an expanded selection of home dĂŠcor, including Simon Pearce, Laura Zindel pottery, Art by Emer, and so much more.

Thank you for helping us kick off the summer season in such a memorable way. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

In true New England fashion, Mother Nature hasn’t exactly been cooperating — but that won’t stop us from having some fun at tonight’s “Spring Into Summer” event hosted by Project Sunapee from 5:30–8:30pm! 🌀☀️

Eat, shop, and play your way around the Harbor while enjoying live music by JD and the Stonemasons. All stores will be open late, and we’re excited to officially treat tonight as the “Grand Opening” of our new store at 33 River Rd. 🤍

We’ll have snacks and refreshments ready to celebrate, and we can’t wait to kick off the summer season with all of you! 🥂

This year, Prospect Hill Antiques turns 50! 🎉

Many of you know the story—Ron & Barbara Sullivan founded this beautiful business in 1976 at “the barn” in Georges Mills. We are so grateful for your support over the years; it’s what has allowed Prospect Hill to grow and evolve while staying true to what we love most.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re excited to share a new chapter: our rebrand to Prospect Hill Home.

This new look honors where we’ve been while embracing where we’re going. Antiques will always be at the heart of what we do, but our collection has grown to include a wider range of furniture, art, and home décor—and we wanted a name that reflects that.

Every detail of our new branding was chosen with intention:
The barn doors pay tribute to our beginnings in Georges Mills.
The Bells of Ireland honor Ron & Barbara and their years spent sourcing abroad.
And the honey bee—symbolizing community, hard work, and prosperity—represents the spirit of Prospect Hill and all of you who have helped it thrive. 🐝

Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to the next 50 years. 🥂

Well, it’s finally here - the unofficial start to summer, and we couldn’t be more excited! As we enjoy this long weekend with family and friends, we also take a moment to honor the fallen and the true meaning of Memorial Day and keep it close to our hearts. 🇺🇸 🫡

We also want to recognize what an incredible community continues to grow here in the harbor. We feel so lucky to be surrounded by so many inspiring small businesses that have come together to make this area truly special. Over the past few years, we’ve seen such an amazing transformation- new year-round businesses, meaningful collaborations, exciting events, live music, and so much more. ✨

To our customers, friends, family and visitors - thank you for supporting not just us, but this entire community.

With that, Prospect Hill Antiques & Home is now open 7 days a week at both locations - 31 & 33 River Road. We can’t wait to welcome you in this summer! 🌻

Before the day ends, we want to celebrate National Rescue Dog Day and recognize all the incredible pups now lounging comfortably in their forever homes. 🐾

Today is all about raising awareness for the millions of dogs in shelters who deserve a second chance, while encouraging others to adopt, foster, volunteer, or support local animal rescues.

Our resident rescue, Toby, would also like to thank everyone for the belly rubs, treats, and patience with all of his crazy antics. ❤️

Calling all animal lovers! We’re beyond honored to officially welcome local artist Joan Barrows to the gallery. Her larger-than-life paintings of species native to New Hampshire will quite literally stop you in your tracks.

Joan’s work is as unique as it is beautiful - each piece is painted on repurposed drop cloths, embracing sustainability while creating a one-of-a-kind, perfectly “imperfect” texture. The natural irregularities of the material add depth, character, and a distinct style to every painting. Each canvas is then stretched and ready to hang.

Photos truly don’t do her work justice - you have to experience it in person. Stop by and see Joan’s incredible pieces for yourself!

✨ New Artist Alert! ✨

We are absolutely honored to welcome local artist Grace Cooper to the gallery!

Grace’s passion for art began early, nurtured by the encouragement of her parents and classes at the Silvermine Arts Center in New Canaan, Connecticut. She continued her artistic journey at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine arts degree.

Before pursuing painting full time, Grace worked as a textile designer in both the apparel and home furnishings industries, bringing her eye for color, pattern, and composition into every piece she creates today.

Now residing in New London, Grace brings a beautiful and distinctive perspective to our gallery, and we’re thrilled to showcase her work.

Stop by and experience her stunning collection for yourself! 🖼️ 🎨
