This Saturday, June 6, join artists Juan William Chávez & Kiersten Torrez for the launch of the Wak’a Garden zine.

Learn about the philosophy behind Wak’a Garden and the native bees and plants that informed the project, followed by a Q&A.

After the brief discussion, Torrez will lead attendees in a process for mindfully planting a native plant in a take-home grow bag (plants + bags available on a first come, first served basis).

🚌 School is out! Still need to make summer camp plans? 🎨 Our Summer Art Programs for ages 5-15 still have openings!

🌿Young artists will adventure into an inspiring world full of large-scale sculptures, natural wonders, and imaginative art projects!

👯Each session inspires self-expression, connection, and new friendships.

📅 Weekly sessions run June 8–July 31, with optional Anime and Art Club add-ons for extended afternoons. Laumeier member discounts available. Participants may enroll in one, several, or all available sessions.

It was an amazing weekend! Thank you to our 162 incredibly talented artists, food & drink vendors, musicians, event staff and volunteers, community partners, sponsors, and all 26,000+ attendees who came out in support of Laumeier’s 39th Annual Art Fair. 🎨🎶🌭

This year’s Art Fair felt especially meaningful as we celebrated the Park’s 50th anniversary. 🌟 We were reminded of the many longtime sponsors, partners, vendors, and volunteers who have helped make this event possible over the years. And, as always, one of our favorite parts of the weekend was hearing stories from families and friends returning to the Art Fair generation after generation, alongside those experiencing it for the first time. 🫶

What a joyful day and wonderful conclusion to a weekend full of art and creativity at Laumeier’s 39th Annual Art Fair! We loved seeing so many families and friends making memories together and are honored that so many choose to make Art Fair a part of their Mother’s Day tradition!
