monday night !! 6-8pm !! come see kitao’s last show of the semester, featuring calligraphy and ink paintings by min fruman ‘24 and myles farrall ‘24 ٩( ᐛ )و
a little about this show: min and myles started making these works last fall when they actually had free time. since then they’ve each dropped a major (myles: chinese, min: art) but stayed in the trenches anyways. myles is the founder of swarthmore’s calligraphy club while min cannot read any of the characters he writes and has never actually studied ink painting. they would like to thank calligraphy club for indirectly/unknowingly sponsoring this show, the japanese department for printing their work on a bunch of t-shirts, and kitao for giving these pieces a home.
