The Teen Glass Guild is a program of Gravity Glass studio, a community based studio owned by Jon LIckerman. The Teen Glass Guild was founded in 2010 by Jon Lickerman and Kari Minnick. Previously we were located in Pyramid Atlantic Art Center in downtown Silver Spring, MD. We offer a multi-year program for teens to develop the skills of artists working in "warm" glass. We provide a supportive envir

onment for kids to be creative and have fun with a unique art medium. Jon Lickerman, owner of the studio, is a second career glass artist. He organized a five week mural project at Piney Branch ES in 2008. He has studied with leading glass artists and received a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist award in 2005. In July 2015 he re-launched the studio in it's current form.
