Florida State University Heritage & University Archives is dedicated to documenting the history of the university, with a special emphasis on the student experience. The mission of the FSU Heritage & University Archives is to locate, identify, acquire, record, assist in the preservation of, and promote knowledge about the institutional history and cultural heritage of Florida State University and

its predecessor institutions. Students, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni, and friends have expressed this heritage through published, unpublished, audio, and visual materials, memorabilia and ceremonial objects.

New exhibit alert!
“Bump, Set, Spike: Coach Cecile Reynaud and the FSU Women’s Volleyball Team” will be on display in the Heritage Museum through fall 2025. This exhibit was curated by our intern Sierria Groom and highlights Coach Cecile Reynaud, who coached the FSU Women’s Volleyball team from 1976-2001.
