Located in the village of Tamworth, New Hampshire, Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm is a historic site and working farm featuring exhibits, gardens, walking trails and more. Visitors are invited to explore 200+ years of NH’s agricultural traditions combined with the unique story of two country doctors, the Drs. Offering seasonal learning, family-friendly activities, adult tours and workshops, a
nd special events. Remick has twice been named an “Editors’ Pick: Best of New England” by Yankee Magazine and voted a “Family Favorite” by the readers of Parenting NH Magazine. Weather permitting, there is an entire farmstead to explore, an activity we call free-range “farmsploring.” Farmsploring includes the activities mentioned above, as well as the opportunity to visit with the farm animals in their pastured settings. As you stroll the grounds, you will encounter self-led activities that encourage you to learn about the farm, nature and science. Admission is pay as you wish (donations appreciated). Building and barn access is limited due to renovation projects currently underway. However, the Museum Center offers introductory exhibits about the Remick family and the farmstead, and Medical History Tours provide a glimpse into the home life and work of the Drs. Remick, with a visit to the 2nd-floor apartment once home to "Doc” and Marion Remick (located in the Center; extended afternoon tour only), and the medical office used by both Drs.
