Here is a newly discovered photo donated by Rayford Fogleman. We’ve been trying to determine when this was taken and what important event would gather a crowd in their Sunday best at the depot. Look closer and you will see two gentleman standing on a podium in the middle of the crowd. Was this the day Will Rogers stopped by Teague in his travels thru the area? Was this some political event?

Looking around the depot you can see the hotel that predates the Teague Hotel and on the right side of the track, south of Teague is what appears to be a gin.

Renovation of the Veterans Room, the Teague Business and Social Room, the expanded displays in the Medical Room and the Teague Schools room are turning out great! The School Room houses treasures like these great photos of Teague students. We can’t wait to show you around at the Grand Reopening of the Museum!
Thanks you to Leigh Ann Steen for giving these old photos new life!

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here is an upcoming fun event for the kids! Also, just down the road from the State Park is the Fort Parker historical site where Cynthia Ann Parker was taken captive by a band of Indians. Two great places near by for fun and learning!
