Come on by if you want this Eric's Humble Pies goodness on your holiday table tomorrow. Park on the side on Oak street or in the parking bay behind the school.

Hello everyone! We didn't have much luck finding a big enough kitchen to really bake out of in high capacity for the holiday, but we can't leave you high and dry with no pie! We will be making a limited number of PUMPKIN PIES and PEANUT BUTTER CREAM PIES, and they will be available on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis only. Pick up will be at 501 S. 25th Street on Wednesday morning between 9-12. Pies cost $20 each, and payment will just be cash, check, or venmo.

We are sorry to not be on all of your tables this year, and to not have the ability to provide our free Thanksgiving meal to the community. But we will find a kitchen to borrow and will operate in full force next Thanksgiving, we promise.

There are donation bins for coats and for canned goods at the pick-up location, so if you have anything to donate, bring it along with you!!

It was a long day. It was a hot day. It was a hard day. It was a sad day. It was a good day.

We had friends who offered their time and energy to find help for us. We had friends who offered a way to transport our equipment, and a place to store it. We had new friends from the neighborhood who offered their labor, strangers who saw a need and jumped in to help.

We remain so grateful for the strong sense of community in the 12 Points area and beyond, and we are so so so appreciative of everyone's kind and supportive messages. Eric's Humble Pies will return to serve you again! But for now, our ovens are taking a rest....and so are we.

Hi folks. This is a hard post to make. We hope this is temporary, but for right now, we are closing our doors.

The battles we have had with our building have finally gotten to be too much for us to handle. From the start, we have had to take on the added burden of many repairs and improvements that we should not have had to fund, but we were so invested (emotionally and financially) in the space by that point, and we wanted nothing more than to get open and start serving you. We have given all the money, time, and energy we had to give into the upkeep of this building. At this point, the building—the whole block—is literally falling down around us despite our best efforts, and we have nothing left to give to try to keep it going. We have made the difficult decision that it is no longer safe to operate out of this building.

Please, please understand that the struggles we faced are solely from the building and the building owner and have nothing to do with the 12 Points area. There are so many amazing small businesses still operating and set to open soon in that area, and it still deserves and needs your support. The library is coming, and things will only improve from here! The fact that we won’t be a part of that continued growth makes us very sad, as we were the very first ones to sign a lease in 12 Points right before this latest round of revitalization efforts began. We feel so lucky and grateful to have been a part of it for two years. We cannot tell you how appreciative we are for the support and love we have received from the community during our run. We are grieving this loss.

Look for us in the future—maybe in a new space, maybe mobile. But hopefully, we will be serving you Eric's Humble Pies and Pot of Beans soup again soon.

Open for First Friday this evening. The shop is carryout only, as it is 20,000° in here. But we have Mountain Berry Crumbs (both sizes), mini Apple Crumbs, a few mini Caramel Chocolate Cheesecakes, one large Peanut Butter Cream, and PIE NACHOS with homemade pizzelles, peanut butter cream, and fresh whipped cream.

Christy from Pot of Beans cooked you up some delicious Three-Meat Chili. And the kids are set up outside with some ice cold drinks and, in a desire for cooler weather, a fall craft table.

Here for a few hours this evening. Until we either sell out, get too tired, or melt from the heat. Come see us, folks. We appreciate you.

Hello everyone. The A/C is still out at the shop, with no repair plan currently in sight. With this extreme heat, it was just too unbearable for us to bake last night, so we will not be open this evening. With the rain cooling things down a bit thus morning, we will get in there and bake for you soon, and we plan to be open our regular hours this weekend (Sat-Sun 11-6) with some delicious blackberry cheesecakes and other yummy treats! We are sorry we won't see you tonight, but we hope to see you this weekend!!

Closing early tonight (6:30) to see pur daughter in The Music Man at MAUMC! But that means Eric is open two more hours to sell you some delicious blackberry crumb pies, blackberry cream pies, and peach crumb pies....or some chocolate cheesecake or peanut butter cream pie bites!

All of our blackberries are freshly picked from Fresh on Cypress at Miller Farms, and my goodness, they are some of the biggest and juiciest blackberries we've ever had!

Open again this weekend, 11-6 both days, to continue our BLACKBERRY BONANZA EXTRAVAGANZA!!

(You might want to plan to take your pies to go, though. It is 🔥🥵 in here tonight!)
