Located in the former Carnegie Library, the museum is operated by the Terrell Heritage Society. Please call on Wednesday to make an appointment.

The museum collections consist of some 5000 photographs and documents, as well as other artifacts relating to Terrell's rich history. The Museum is open on Wednesday snd Saturday 10 am to 4 pm and by appointment only on Friday 10am - 3 pm. The Museum is arranged so that visitors tour without the help of a docent unless one prefers assistance. All the exhibits have written explanations available. Free admission, donations are gratefully accepted

The museum will be closed tomorrow, Friday, April 10th, and Saturday, April 11th, as our staff will be attending the Texas Historical Commission’s Real Places Conference.

While we’re away, we’ll also be pulling down our current featured exhibit and preparing the space for an exciting new one—stay tuned for more details soon!

We’re excited for this opportunity to learn, connect, and bring back new ideas to better serve our community. We look forward to welcoming you back to the museum next week.
