🎉 The wait is over! The Basalt Rock Café is reopening this Friday!

Join us for fresh sandwiches, homemade soups, delicious flatbreads, local beverages, and more while you explore the Museum and beautiful Columbia River Gorge views.

Featuring favorites like our Turkey Sandwich, Lox & Bagel, Mushroom Flatbread, Clam Chowder, and a sure-to-please Kids Menu!

RAFTING GEAR SALE – Support Outdoor Education!

We're selling a large inventory of NRS rafting gear! Most items were originally used for youth outdoor programs, and many pieces are lightly used or nearly new.

Available gear includes:

• 44 NRS Splash Jackets
• 33 NRS Helmets
• 29 NRS PFDs
• 22 Youth Wetsuits
• 18 Adult Wetsuits
• 48 Pairs of NRS Booties

Photos, sizes, and pricing are included below. Discounts available for bulk purchases. Schools, camps, outfitters, and youth organizations are encouraged to inquire.

Items are available for pickup at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum in The Dalles with an appointment.

All proceeds support outdoor education programs, field trips, and community learning opportunities!
