Ever looked at a painting and wondered what's really going on in it? Here's your chance to find out—or rather, to make it up yourself. Choose a piece from our gallery walls and write a short fictional backstory: who painted it, what happened just before or after, what secret it's hiding. At the end, you're welcome (but never required) to read your story aloud to the group.

Bring your own journal or sketchbook, or pick up one of our sketchbook/journal kits on-site for $10, complete with pencils and an eraser. Attendance itself is free—come let your imagination wander the gallery.

Discover the meditative art of paper mosaic in this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop! No experience needed — just bring your curiosity and creativity.
You'll start by choosing your design: pick from a selection of pre-sketched black-and-white designs (think animals, florals, landscapes, abstract patterns, and more), or go rogue and sketch your own original vision. Either path leads to the same colorful destination.

Using an array of vibrant paper squares (and circles in honor of ), you'll piece together your image piece by piece, playing with color, contrast, and composition as you go. Inspiration boards will be on hand throughout the session if you want ideas for color palettes or pattern styles, but the creative choices are entirely yours.
