Old Glory and Baseball will be celebrated this Saturday, June 7 in downtown Three Oaks. At 11:30 AM, the US Postal Service will unveil the new 2025 U.S. Flag Forever Stamp outside the Vickers Theatre. It is quite an honor for the town that boasts "The Home of the Nation's Largest Flag Day Parade". Following that ceremony, the Biggest Little Baseball Museum will be presenting the second base of its High Noon Speaker Series, called "Just a Little Baseball" in the Warren Room of the Three Oaks Township Public Library. Admission to both events is free, and Baseball attendees will receive...what else...a box of Cracker Jack. The picture shows the site of the Forever Stamp unveiling. The large building in the forefront is the Bremer (Acorn) Opera House, (now a parking lot) and the building to the left is the Livery and Feed Stable that became Lee Theater and eventually Vickers Theater. Thank you Three Oaks Flag Day Weekend and Parade
