Silk Road Traders at Gallery 4

Silk Road Traders at Gallery 4 Treasures from the Near and Far East for your life. Fine art, Oriental rugs, Chinese furniture, kilim home goods, textiles and jewelry. Robbins.

Silk Road Traders specializes in new, antique and semi-antique oriental rugs from the Near East. Several times each year Elaine and Alix travel to Istanbul and the surrounding area selecting rugs and other artifacts which are for sale at the Gallery. Silk Road Traders provides an outstanding collection of wool, silk or cotton rugs, which vary in country of origin, design and color. There is much t

o choose from – making your selection process a hands-on museum quality experience. We offer complimentary "in home consultation" to assist our customers in choosing just the right rug for their personal decor. Customers can also take rugs home "on approval". Elaine and Alix have chosen a unique assortment of artifacts, which include weathered copper or ceramic storage vessels from Turkey, antique Turkomen silver and carnelian jewelry and Suzani textiles from Uzbekistan. Bright silk scarves and fine art jewelry also add to the distinctive offerings. Silk Road Traders represents the works of Abstract Expressionist, Harry Nadler,
and the international photography of "Copley Society Artist" James S. This fine art collection includes watercolors by Henry Gasser. Silk Road Traders, jointly owned by Elaine Hill and Alix Campbell, is one of two shops making up Gallery 4. Susan Freda Studios and Arn Krebs share this wonderful space at the Gallery. Check the Gallery 4 website for previous and upcoming special exhibits.
