Winter sports fans have may have moved inside to catch the Milan/Cortina Olympic Games on NBC, and the ice on our rivers and bay is melting (as are the impenetrable glaciers along our walks and driveways), but Peter Slack was on the scene to capture some of the action the past couple of weeks on Barnegat Bay and up at the Navesink River.

The Barnegat Bay Maritime Museum site will be closed on Tuesday, January 27th due to unfavorable ground conditions. Tentative reopening expected this Thursday for normal hours of 10 am to 2 pm.
