Jalan Jalan Imports is an LA based boutique importer of solid stone carvings, petrified wood, indoor/outdoor design elements, and many other unique treasures from Asia. Our goal is to provide individuals, retailers, collectors, designers and architects access to authentic, extraordinary, hand-crafted design elements and unique items for in and around the home. and or unique unto itself, no two items are exactly the same. If you are interested in the items on this site, you will surely enjoy visiting our Topanga gallery (by appointment). Those items we do not have on hand can be “ordered”, meaning a similar item (as close to the original item) will be hand-selected. Jalan Jalan focuses on importing items which are largely unavailable for sale in the United States. The items we sell, for the most part, fall into two general categories:
Stone Carvings and Outdoor/Indoor Design Elements
Much of what we sell is intended for “outdoor beautification,” with the idea that your outdoor living space should be as beautiful and comfortable as the interior of your home. Jalan Jalan looks for items that are either weatherproof or are intended to age gracefully outdoors (although much of what we sell winds up inside the home). Stone carvings, petrified wood, wood masks and carvings, and solid teak or bamboo furniture are good examples of these items. We are also working to identify the finest quality building materials for people who want to add a special accent to new construction. Most of our customers live within driving distance. Local delivery is available. We also offer the use of our premises (waterfall and creek included!) for location video and photo shoots.
