When your little one is playing pretend, they are developing their imagination - and so much more. Pretend play helps children develop vocabulary and social skills that will be important in the classroom and beyond. When children visit KidsPlay and “shop” in the Grocery Store or “cook” in the Diner, they are also exploring real-world roles and activities. The play may be pretend, but the learning is real!

Join us tonight (Friday, May 22) from 5 pm to 7 pm for Sensory Friendly Playtime!

Sensory Friendly Playtime is a judgement-free environment with limited attendance, lower lights, and reduced sounds, perfect for little ones with sensory processing challenges. Adaptive equipment like headphones and tools like social stories and PECS are available.

Thanks to sponsorship from the Union Savings Bank Foundation, admission during Sensory Friendly Playtime is reduced to only $5 per person.
