Artist Kay Baun Artist Kay Baun Kay is an accomplished artist in many mediums; her first love is watercolors. She displays her work at art and craft shows in the southeast.

Growing up in West Virginia, Kay has acquired appreciation for God’s beauty found in nature. In Kay’s artwork, she captures the serenity of the landscape in the picturesque countryside, surrounding mountains and sea shore. Each year Kay is invited to show her work at the Pendleton Caft in Pendleton, SC, in the Uptown Exchange in Abbeville, SC and the Hiawasse Mt. Fair and Fall Festival. Kay's soft

tones and whimsical designs add charm to her paintings. As a self-taught artist, she paints from the heart the many things she loves. Residing in the upstate of South Carolina for the past 30 years, Kay's painting and drawings are reflective of scenes found in the Carolina mountaions, midlands and beach areas. Over the years Kay has given art lessons to children in the public schools. In the early eighties, while owner and proprietor of the Colonial Gift and Craft Shoppe in Simpsonville, SC, she also gave private art lessons to children and adults. Painting since early childhood has allowed Kay to develop a clientele for her work in most states. North and South of the border and Europe as well. Her landscapes, seascapes and rural scenes capture the natural beauty of life and days gone by. Kay's husband of over 40 years, Don has joined her in the business and beautifully frames her paintings. Don is a custom framer and he and Kay own Little Beaver Creek Frame shop where they also frame art for the public.

Kay Baun We we’re together 60 years. Sadly Kay passed away. March 7 th. Kay was a great artist and wonderful person who touched. Many lives I loved her a lot. She will be missed by her family and friends Don Baun
