Alluvion Arts presents We Will Not Whisper, an exhibition featuring 19 female visual artists, collectively responding to the ongoing erosion of civil liberties and democratic institutions in America. 

The exhibition opens to the public on March 7,  5-7 pm inside Commongrounds, 414 E. 8th Street, Traverse City, Michigan, on the second floor. Artwork is exhibited on both the first and second floors of Commongrounds and varies in technique from painting to collage to assemblage and fiber. We Will Not Whisper is on view at The Alluvion through April 11.

Alluvion Arts is excited to present the third annual Open Walls exhibition of local artists, opening on November 12th from 5-7 pm. Artwork will be for purchase (give the gift of art this holiday!) and will be on view until January 11th. 

Open Walls is an artist driven exhibition in which artists submit one piece of art to be hung salon style on the first and second floor of Commongrounds. All mediums, disciplines and career stages are welcome! Artists interested in participating need to fill out the form linked in bio by November 4th.

The Intercontinental Biennial of Indigenous Art & Culture

This traveling collection of artwork features over forty artists from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama and Peru. Curated by Jorge Iván Cevallos of Ecuador on the concept of Indigenous history and identity. The exhibition also includes several indigenous artists from the US and Michigan; Darryl Brown, Paul Sinclair, Janelle CourTurier Dahlberg, Scott Hill, Ronald J. Paquin, Paula McNamara & Clyde Hart.

On view throughout the first and second floors until August 31st
