The Tremont Historical Society & Museum exists to discover, collect, and preserve materials relevant to the history of Tremont, IL.

We are open 2nd and 4th Sundays from 2-4, except in January and February when the museum is closed. Times are announced for exhibits and events. Tours for groups, families or individuals can be arranged by contacting 309-840-0094

This Saturday is the deadline, and tickets will not be sold at the door the day of the event.
$20.00 (cash only) at Beecham’s Market and Eli’s Coffee in Tremont.
Refreshments, hat displays, a speaker, and a good time! All to raise money for the Tremont Museum-a great cause!

Tickets for the Tea and Timeless Hats Tremont Museum fundraiser will now be on sale until SATURDAY,SEPTEMBER 5!
Pick them up at Beecham’s Market or Eli’s in Tremont. They are $20.00, cash only. Note* Tickets will not be sold at the door.
WHAT: Bring a friend, wear a hat if you wish! Enjoy local author Mary Penn’s presentation, “Hats Through the Ages,” and a selection of savory refreshments and sweet. And of course, tea or coffee!
Enjoy the creative displays of vintage hats and an afternoon of making memories.
WHERE: Tremont Methodist Church Family Life Center.

AUTHOR MARY PENN WILL Present “ Hats Through the Ages” on Saturday, September 12 at the Tremont Methodist Church. She will be part of the Tremont Historical Society’s fundraiser, “Tea and Timeless Hats,” which will begin at 2:00.
Featuring an assortment of savory and sweet refreshments, tea and coffee, attendees are welcome to wear a hat to this event! Displays of the museum’s vintage hat collection will add to the enjoyment.
Tickets for the fundraiser are $20.00 at Beecham’s Market and Eli’s in Tremont until September 1.
Note: NO tickets will be sold at the door.
