🚂The Cheshire Railroad Depot & B&M RDC #6154 will be open tomorrow, Saturday, June 20th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM!🚂

Stop by and visit our beautifully restored 179-year-old Depot, tour Boston & Maine RDC #6154 and say hello to Hobo the Depot Dog!
We are also thrilled to share that the Cheshire Railroad Depot and #6154 have been featured in one of the Monadnock Rail Trail Challenge pamphlets! The Challenge encourages participants to explore southwest New Hampshire's incredible rail trail network while walking, running, biking, skiing, or snowshoeing.
You can learn more about the Challenge and scan the QR code to sign up right here at the Depot.
A heartfelt thank you to the Greater Monadnock Collaborative for including our Depot in this exciting regional initiative. We are honored to be part of showcasing the wonderful outdoor and historical treasures of the Monadnock Region.

What a day at the Depot!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our Depot Fun Run and community celebration. We were thrilled to welcome 16 runners who literally ran through history from Fitzwilliam to Troy, along with all the visitors who stopped by to enjoy the food, music, vendors, raffles, and fellowship.
Events like this are only possible because of the amazing support from our community, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and everyone who came out to spend part of their day with us. Special thank you to the Recreational Department for cooking over those hot stoves and to the Troy Police Dept and Dave for assuring our runners were safe.
As for Hobo... after countless belly rubs, treats, ear scratches, and posing for photos, he's officially "belly rubbed out" and is now enjoying a well-earned evening of rest.
From all of us at the Cheshire Railroad Depot, Fitzwilliam Historical Society and Troy Historical Society, thank you for helping make today such a wonderful success.
We can't wait to see you again soon!

Everything is ready for a great weekend at the Cheshire Railroad Depot!

The Depot and Boston & Maine RDC #6154 are looking their best and ready to welcome visitors for this year's Depot Day Fun Run festivities.
Join us Saturday, as runners travel from Fitzwilliam to Troy, quite literally running through history along the Cheshire Rail Trail.
The fun doesn't stop at the finish line! From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, enjoy:
● Live Music
● Food
● Vendors
● Raffles
● Historic Railroad Exhibits
And, of course, Hobo - The Cheshire Depot Dog will be on hand accepting belly rubs!
Whether you're running, visiting, exploring local history, or just looking for a fun day out, there's something for everyone at the Depot.
We can't wait to see you this weekend!

The humans keep calling it a "Fun Run."
I have investigated this thoroughly and can confirm that it is actually a Belly Rub Gathering with food, music, and some people running beforehand.
I will be stationed at the Troy Depot from 10 AM to 3 PM accepting:

Running Through History! 🚂🏃‍♀️
Join us on Saturday, June 13th for the Depot Day Fun Run along the beautiful Cheshire Rail Trail!
The 5-mile Fun Run begins at 9:00 AM at the Fitzwilliam Depot and finishes at the historic Troy Depot.
Experience the beauty of the trail while literally running through history.
When you arrive at the Troy Depot, the fun is just getting started!

●Local Vendors
●Raffles and More
Festivities at the Depot run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
And of course, our four-legged ambassador, Hobo the Depot Dog, will be on site accepting belly rubs, ear scratches, compliments, and possibly a few treats. 🐾😄

As we commemorate the 82nd anniversary of our troops storming the beaches of Normandy alongside Allied Forces, we remember and honor their bravery. The front turned the tide of WW2 and ensured the freedom of millions.
We are forever indebted for their sacrifice.

While you're out enjoying the day, don't forget about the Depot Day Fun Run! Join runners as they make their way from the Fitzwilliam Depot to the Troy Depot along the beautiful Rail Trail.
Once you arrive in Troy, stick around for a great day of community fun featuring:
