Lace up your running shoes and join us for a scenic 5-Mile Fun Run along the beautiful Rail Trail from Fitzwilliam to Troy!
📍 Fun Run Starts: 9:00 AM
📍 Finish Line: Cheshire Railroad Depot, Troy, NH
But the fun doesn't stop at the finish line!
From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, enjoy: Great Food, Local Vendors and Music.
We are still looking for vendors too!

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our country and our freedoms. 🇺🇸
At the Cheshire Railroad Depot, history surrounds us every day — stories of sacrifice, hard work, perseverance, and community. Railroads once carried soldiers off to war and brought heroes home again. Their legacy, and the sacrifices of so many Americans, are forever woven into the fabric of our nation’s history.
As we gather at the Depot this Memorial Day, we invite everyone to take a moment to reflect, remember, and appreciate those who made our freedoms possible.
The Depot and #6154 proudly stand as reminders that preserving history also means preserving the stories of the people who shaped it.

We will be open this Saturday, May 23rd from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM!
Stop by to visit our beautifully restored 179-year-old Depot, see Boston & Maine RDC #6154 and reminisce about a time when trains ruled Cheshire County and beyond.

Then join us again on Memorial Day — Monday, May 25th beginning at 10:00 AM for the Memorial Day celebration at the Depot.
We’ll be open from 10:00 AM until ? because great conversations, history, and community never seem to have a set ending time around here. 🇺🇸

Well…what a day at the Cheshire Railroad Depot yesterday!
I got to see so many wonderful visitors, receive countless belly rubs, make new friends, and supervise everything happening around the Depot. I even posed for pictures like the local celebrity I clearly am. 😄
I would like to personally thank everyone who stopped by to visit us, support the Depot, and spend time with our beautiful Boston & Maine Railroad BUDD RDC #6154.
Now…apparently I’ve been informed that this page is actually supposed to be about the Depot and #6154.
Honestly, I thought it was my fan page. 🐶
Thank you all again for another amazing day filled with smiles, stories, laughter, and belly rubs. I can’t wait to see everyone again soon!

What a day at the Depot!
We’ve had wonderful visitors, generous donations, beautiful weather, and so much support from our community.
Days like today remind us why we love preserving the history of the Cheshire Railroad Depot.

Saturday June 13th come join the fun and take part in the Fitzwilliam to Troy Fun Run.
Starting at the Fitzwilliam Depot and ending at the Troy Depot. You can run, skip, hop or walk through history.
Not into running? Thats ok, we will have other things to do.
The Depot and #6154 will be open along with food and more.
Also that Saturday the Troy Historical Society will be holding a Membership Drive event at Kimball Hall.
