The Montgomery Community College Continuing Education Art Class is having an exhibit at the Montgomery County Library in Troy during the months of October and November. The multimedia art show consists of work done in oils, acrylic, water color, alcohol ink, soft pastels and photography. Joe Grebner, who is the seventh instructor, has been the instructor of the class for the past twenty years. The MCC art class has been ongoing since 1967 and has an average of 16 students year round.
Students participating in the art show are: Don Aldridge, Peggy Brewer, Maude Deaton, Don Fales, Hazel Fales, Joe Grebner, Becky Hearne, Bonnie Herring, Dr. John Herring, Ellen Hill, JoAnne Kime, Joyce Lambert, Helen Meacham, Ruth Morton, Ellen Stanley, Pat Weeks, and Geraldine Yates. Subjects include horses, portraits, landscapes, flowers, small animals, and still life.
