Have you seen the current exhibit "Home & Hearth?"

Before the rapid growth brought by the oil boom, Tulsa was a quiet frontier town. A broad variety of skills were needed to maintain the home— and make life more pleasant. Come explore the tools used for everything from quilting to cooking and take a look back at a time before electric appliances and department stores.

The Continental Baking Company (owner of the Tulsa factory) was the maker of Twinkies and Wonder Bread, and one of the first bakeries to introduce fortified bread. In the 1950s, Continental started an advertising campaign for it's vitamin and mineral enriched bread: "Wonder Bread builds strong bodies 8 ways. Look for the red, yellow and blue balloons printed on the wrapper."
