Lake Superior 20/20 Studio Art Tour We are a group of studio artists living north of Duluth, MN on the outskirts of Two Harbors near Lake Superior, the greatest lake in the world.

Lake Superior 20/20 Studio Art Tour is a local artist studio tour that was started in September 2012. There is an approximate 20 mile route with 10 host studios, 3 host farms and over 40 artists showcasing their work. It is located between Duluth and Two Harbors with stops inland approximately 8 miles in from the shore of Lake Superior and other stops along the North Shore. The Tour takes place th

Jonathan Walburg of Lake Superior Pottery. I use many local materials to make unique pottery with a look, feel and story distinct to The Greatest Lake. It is porcelain with Lake Superior’s rocks, sands, clays and wood-ash glazes creating food safe pottery made from simple ingredients.  Highly crafted functional pottery made with the idea of loving an area and being able to take it home with you and enjoy every day.
Influenced by studies at St. John’s Pottery (MN), Karatsu (Japan), and Ulsan (Korea).
