The many positive comments we hear from visitors and members are delightful! Many times, the feedback is verbal and other times a message is lovingly written in our Guest Book at The Washington House. They are all appreciated and worth sharing - for example, we just received this via email:

"We truly enjoyed taking a step back in time and learning about the origins of the ice cream sundae as we savored our ice cream.

I can see why it is such a popular spot for thru-hikers and visitors of all ages and walks of life. What a lovely historic building, and the museum is wonderful!"

The Two Rivers Historical Society will present Objects That Connect Us Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 6–8 p.m. at the Washington House.

Bring a cherished family object and share its story with other program participants. The event is limited to 20 people. Advance registration is required by Tuesday, Oct. 13. All ages are welcome.
