After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that Florellie will officially be closing in December 2026.
This business has been part of my life for a long time. What began as Glass of Jo in 2011 grew into Florellie in 2021, evolving alongside me through different stages of my life.
Over the years, I tried to grow Florellie with me, shifting the brand, changing the products, and evolving the vision. But as I’ve moved into a different phase of life, I’ve realized that what once served me so well… no longer does in the same way.
I also want to share something transparently: Florellie was a vendor in Painted Tree, but I made the decision to pull my inventory in October of last year after recognizing early on that it wasn’t the right fit. It’s been difficult to watch what many small business owners have experienced there since.
That said, my decision to close Florellie is not tied to that.
This is a personal decision. A natural closing of a chapter that no longer aligns with who I am today.
What hasn’t changed is my need to create.
I’ve found that again. Just in a different form. Through storytelling and podcasting, I’m able to express that same creativity in a way that feels more aligned with who I am now. I'd love for you to follow my podcast journey: Auntie Jo Jo's Library, Legacy Lore, and Under Par Over Time.
I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who supported Florellie over the years. This final year will be a time to thoughtfully close this chapter, including one last show this November.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
