This Chickering Piano is over 150 years old. Sometimes, it needs a little extra love and care so that we can continue to enjoy it. Michael, from Michael's Piano, is doing some amazing work keeping old pianos alive and sounding great!

This piano started it's life on the East Coast. Took a boat trip around the Horn to San Francisco. Then another boat trip to Red Bluff. Then it hopped on a Central Pacific Railroad car to Delta. After that, it got hauled by a mule team up to Upper Soda Springs in Dunsmuir where it remained until it finally found it's last home here at the Museum.

Museum is open Thursday through Monday, 10am to 4pm.

We are having a fund raising yard sale on June 5 and 6 at 755 Lassen Lane in Mt. Shasta.
There is a $25 table fee which goes to support the Museum.
If you would like to reserve a table or donate items for the sale, please let us know and we can give you all the details.
